This website is information, not medical advice

Everything on this site is general information about treatments we offer. It is not medical advice and it is not a substitute for a consultation. Whether a treatment is suitable for you can only be decided after a doctor has assessed you in person. Prices, timings and outcomes described here are typical, not guaranteed.

Consultations and consent

Every treatment begins with a consultation. You will be given information about the procedure, the realistic outcome, the risks and the alternatives, and you will be asked to give written consent before we proceed. You may change your mind at any point, including after consenting and before treatment begins.

We may decline to treat you — because a treatment is not clinically appropriate, because you have a contraindication, or because what you are asking for would not produce a good result. That is a clinical judgement and it is final.

Appointments

If you need to change or cancel an appointment, please contact us as early as you can so the slot can be offered to someone else. If we have to cancel or reschedule, we will offer you the next available appointment.

Prices and payment

Prices are published in full on our pricing page and are correct at the time of publication. The price confirmed at your consultation is the price you pay for that treatment.

Results and reviews

Aesthetic results vary between individuals, and no clinic can guarantee a specific outcome. Anti-wrinkle treatments include a review at approximately two weeks, where we assess the result and make any reasonable adjustment within the treatment originally planned.

Because treatments are performed as agreed, we do not offer refunds for a completed treatment carried out competently and as consented to. This does not affect your statutory rights. If you are unhappy, tell us — contact us and we will discuss it with you directly.

Prescription-only medicines

Anti-wrinkle injections are a prescription-only medicine in Ireland. They are prescribed for you individually by a registered medical practitioner following a face-to-face consultation, and cannot be bought, reserved or guaranteed in advance of that assessment.

Aftercare

You will be given aftercare instructions. Following them materially affects your result and your safety. If you have any concern after treatment, contact us — do not wait for your review appointment.

Complaints

If something has gone wrong, please contact us first at info@luminaclinic.ie so we can put it right.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, and the Irish courts have exclusive jurisdiction.
