Restylane Skinboosters™ Vital contain hyaluronic acid, a substance your skin already makes and holds water with. Small amounts are placed within the skin itself through a series of very fine injections, improving hydration from the inside and, over a course, smoothness and elasticity too.
Unlike dermal filler, skin boosters are not used to add volume or change the shape of your face. Nobody should be able to tell what you have had — only that your skin looks well.
All three improve skin quality without adding volume, which is why they are so often confused. In simple terms: Restylane Skinboosters™ Vital are placed through many tiny injections across an area and are particularly good for hydration, texture and fine lines; Profhilo uses a few injection points and spreads beneath the skin, leading on firmness and laxity; polynucleotides focus on repair, and suit delicate areas like under the eyes.
Which suits you depends on your skin and your goal. Sometimes the honest answer is none of them yet, and a good routine with daily SPF would serve you better first.
Small raised bumps at the injection points usually settle within a day or two, and some redness or bruising is possible. If you have an event coming up, leave at least two weeks — or, better, plan a course well ahead.
